posted on August 13, 2007 @ 7:54 am by TR
Rachael is set to do two new upcoming movies: Bob Funk and The Golden Door. In Bob Funk, the story revolves around a salesman who works for his mother's futon company...he then falls in love with the woman his mother hires to replace him. The Golden Door is a romantic comedy which also stars Snoop Dogg. heh It definitely sounds fun to me! Anyway, check out the links below for more info.

Rachael recently acted in a short titled, Half Court Push. The short is part of Girls in the Director's Chair and gives some lucky and talented girls the chance to make their own movies. Rachael worked with the West Coast team, so be sure to go to the website and vote for the West Coast team to show your support! :-) You can vote as many times as you wish. You might even win a trip to the Premiere Event! Voting ends June 7th.

Daniel Gillies' Film "Wait For Me"
posted on May 18, 2007 @ 11:49 am by TR
Daniel Gillies (Rachael's husband, for those who don't know) and his friend, Geoff Oki made their own short film recently. The short is called, Wait For Me. Rachael has a cameo in the film too. I say film, but it is actually all shot using an HD camera. The quality is excellent and I think you will be impressed by the overall quality of this short. Way to go, Daniel and Geoff!

  Rachael in "Antique"
posted on March 13, 2007 @ 8:19 pm by TR
Rachael is slated to work with Kristen Bell and William H. Macy in an indie drama by Renji Philip called Antique. The story follows the intersecting lives of eight residents in Echo Park, as they all search for the strength to break free from the pains of their past. Bell would play Claire, a young girl who, after befriending a homeless man (Macy), learns the only way to improve her life is to leave the people who have been holding her back. The ensemble also includes Claire's self-destructive best friend, Samantha (Rachael Leigh Cook), Claire's alcoholic mother (Lolita Davidovich), her drug dealing boyfriend Danny (Kevin Zeegers) and Danny's grieving mom (Anne Archer).
